Ward Chair of Bharatpur Metropolis-20 dies of COVID-19

Ward Chair of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-20 Mani Lal Tamang, 69, has died of COVID-19. He died at Bharatpur Hospital this morning, said Dr Pramod Poudel, coordinator of COVID-19 clinic at the hospital.
Tamang, who was tested positive for the infection on October 2 and admitted to the hospital on October 9, was suffering from diabetes and blood pressure, he said. He was shifted to the intensive care unit before putting him on a ventilator support, he said.
